The Amaran F22c is a professional-grade 200W RGBWW flexible LED mat that packs the power and colour control of a large studio fixture into an ultra-thin, foldable 2×2′ panel. Full HSI colour control, tunable CCT from 2500K–7500K, 46 gel presets, and 15 built-in lighting effects give you complete creative control. CRI 95+ and TLCI 97+ ensure your subjects look natural on camera at any colour temperature.
Use it as a large, flat key light with the included softbox — or wrap it around a doorframe, lay it on the ceiling, hang it from a grip arm, or fold it into a confined space. The V-Mount battery plate means you can go fully cable-free on location. Control it from the Sidus Link app or via DMX for professional multi-light setups.

LED Mat Rental Tips
V-Mount batteries at 14.4V cap the F22c at approximately half power (~100W). For full 200W output in a studio or on a location with power, use the included AC supply. If you need full output on battery, use a 26V or 28.8V V-Mount battery.
The 6-metre total cable length (3m + 3m extension) between the mat and control box means you can tuck the control box and battery out of the way — under a table, behind a door, or off-frame on a stand — while the mat itself is positioned exactly where you need it.
The bare mat is already a soft, even source — no softbox required. Add the 2.5-stop diffusion for a very clean, flat light with almost no shadow. Use the grid to control spill and keep light off the background. The ½-stop diffusion adds just a touch of softening without much light loss.
The Sidus Link app’s Source Match function can analyse an existing light source (daylight from a window, a practial lamp, a sodium streetlight) and automatically dial the F22c to match it. This saves significant time when shooting in mixed-light environments like offices, homes, or outdoor locations.

Does a V-Mount battery come with the rental?
No — V-Mount batteries are available as a separate rental. The F22c includes the AC power supply for wall power. If you need to run it cable-free on location, add a V-Mount battery to your quote. Note: a 14.4V battery gives approximately half power; a 26V or 28.8V battery is required for full 200W output on battery.
Can I mount this on a regular light stand?
Yes — the included right-angle baby pin and tilting stand mount attach to any standard light stand with a 5/8″ spigot receptor. For C-stand grip head mounting, use the included straight baby pin. The folding X-bracket stretches the mat into a rigid 2×2′ panel once assembled on the stand.
How do I control the colour and effects?
Three ways: (1) directly on the control box using the display and buttons, (2) wirelessly via the free Sidus Link app on iOS or Android over Bluetooth, or (3) via wired DMX using a separately available USB-C to 5-pin DMX adapter cable. The Sidus Link app gives you the most control, including Source Match, Colour Picker, and Custom FX.
Is it loud? Will I hear the fan on camera?
The fan is in the control box, not the mat itself. Since the control box can be positioned up to 6 metres from the mat via the included cables, you can place it well away from your microphone. In a quiet room, keep omnidirectional mics 15–20 feet from the control box as a rule of thumb.
