FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you ship the Starlink Mini?
Yes. Pick it up in Williams Lake by appointment, or we’ll ship it anywhere in British Columbia. Ask about shipping when you request your quote.
How fast is the connection?
Speeds depend on your location, how clear your sky view is, and network load. It’s typically enough for video calls, streaming and uploading files. Run a speed test in the Starlink app once you’re connected.
Can I live stream with it?
Many people do. For the steadiest stream, run a wired Ethernet connection to your streaming device and test before you go live.
Will it work in the Cariboo backcountry?
It doesn’t need cell service — only a clear view of the sky. That makes it well suited to remote Cariboo-Chilcotin locations.
Can I use it while driving?
Our rentals are set up for stationary use. Set it up once you’ve parked or reached your site.
