Rental Tips
Always format your memory cards in the camera — never on a computer. This creates the correct directory structure and avoids write errors during recording.
Show up with every battery at 100%. Cold weather drains batteries faster, and swapping mid-shot costs time you may not have. A fully charged spare should always be in your bag.
Choose your picture profile or log gamma before the first take. Switching mid-shoot creates a color matching headache in post. If shooting log, remember to load a LUT for monitoring.
Copy all footage to your own storage before returning the rental. Once the camera is back, the cards will be formatted for the next renter.
