The Godox AD400Pro is a 400Ws battery-powered strobe hitting the sweet spot between output and portability. Lighter than the AD600Pro but with more than enough power for most portrait, commercial, and event situations — an excellent single-light workhorse and a natural key light when paired with fill.

TTL metering adjusts power automatically — great for fast-moving situations. Switch to manual mode when you need identical exposure across a series of shots.
Direct flash creates harsh shadows. Bounce off a white ceiling, use a softbox, or attach a diffuser to wrap the light around your subject for a more natural look.
At maximum output the Godox AD400 needs time to recharge between pops. Drop to half power for faster recycling during rapid shooting.
Flash units drain batteries fast, especially at high power. Pack at least one extra set of fully charged batteries — cold weather accelerates drain even further.
