Before mixing this with other lights, set a custom white balance or use a grey card. Even small color temperature mismatches are visible on camera and harder to fix in post.
Bare light is harsh and unflattering. Pair the Nanlite 30C Tube with a softbox, umbrella, or diffusion panel to get softer, more professional results.
Tape down power cables and sandbag light stands — especially outdoors or in high-traffic areas. A falling light is a safety hazard and an expensive repair.
Power up all your lights together the night before to confirm output levels, check for flicker at your frame rate, and make sure you have enough extension cords and power.

How long does the battery last?
At full brightness the battery runs approximately 2 hours. At lower output levels you can extend this significantly. For all-day shoots, we recommend having a USB-C power bank available as the tubes can run on external power while charging.
Can multiple tubes be synced together?
Yes — up to 255 units can be synced via the NanLite Bluetooth app. All tubes in the kit are pre-synced at the factory and will respond to the same controls out of the box.
