Description
The FotodioX Vizelex CinePro is a cine-style Nikon to Canon adapter that lets you mount Nikon F-mount glass — including modern G-type lenses that have no aperture ring — onto Canon EF / EF-S cameras, including Blackmagic EF-mount cinema bodies. It is the easiest way to put your favourite Nikkor primes and zooms in front of a Canon-mount sensor.
Because G lenses lost their aperture rings, this adapter builds one in: a smooth, integrated aperture-control ring with a removable handle for clean, repeatable aperture pulls while rolling. It focuses to infinity, locks the lens securely, and is built from brass, aluminum, and a stainless-steel mounting ring. Note it is fully manual — there is no electronic communication, autofocus, or EXIF, so you set focus and exposure by hand.

Lens Adapter Rental Tips
Nikon G lenses have no aperture ring, so exposure is controlled by the adapter’s built-in ring. Dial in your stop there before you roll, and use the removable handle for smooth, repeatable pulls during a take.
There are no electronic contacts, so you get no autofocus, no in-camera aperture readout, and no EXIF. Set focus by hand and check exposure with your camera’s focus peaking, zebras, or histogram — standard practice for cine shooting.
The small screw-on handle threads into the aperture-control ring and makes on-the-fly aperture changes easy without bumping the rig. Fit it before your shoot; leave it off for a lower profile if you are locked to one stop.
